An individual has the right to erasure, also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’. The principle underpinning this right is to enable an individual to request the deletion or removal of personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
Playmate collect information you provide when registration in order to use Playmate, including your personal information such as your name, email address, credit card number and/or any other personal information, and login information such as session start/stop time, time zone, and network connection type (e.g., WiFi, cellular). Such information facilitates your use of Playmate. We need such information to manage our services so that you do not have to login in Playmate each time when you use Playmate.
As stipulated in the GDPR, individuals have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing in specific circumstances:
• Where the personal data has to be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation;
• When the personal data was unlawfully processed;
• When the individual objects to the processing and there is no other legal ground for the relevant processing activity;
• When the individual withdraws consent;
• Where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected/processed.
If you don't want to use this app anymore and want to delete your account you can operate through "Mine" - "Settings" - "Delete account" within our App, your account will be deleted at your own confirmation immediately.
Following such request with appropriate review by us, we will delete the data that it is not required to retain for purposes of regulatory, tax, insurance, litigation, or other legal requirements. For example, we retain location, device, and usage data for these purposes for a reasonable period as may be necessary; while it retains such data, it may also use it for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention and detection, and research and development. In certain circumstances, we may be unable to delete your account, such as if there’s a balance on the account or an unresolved claim or dispute. Upon resolution of the issue preventing deletion, we will delete the account as described above.
We may also retain certain information if necessary for purposes of safety, security, and fraud prevention. For example, if we deactivate a user’s account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a account in the future.
Please further note that the deletion of your account is irreversible. You understand that upon the deletion of your account, we could no longer provide you with Playmate Services, or collect your personal information. Therefore, we would suggest you be careful when choosing to delete your account.
